Tokyo Mew Mew Introduction:

Tokyo Mew Mew is a mahoushoujo anime and manga, that follows the adventures of Momoiya Ichigo, and her 4 companions in an attempt to save the planet from aliens, while at the same time trying to balance her love-life. As the story progresses, events become more complicated for our heroine Mew Ichigo, an soon winning the affections of her beloved Aoyama-kun become the least of her worries!
The original Tokyo Mew Mew manga is 7 volumes long and release in American-English by TokyoPop, It can be found at your local Borders, Barnes & Noble, Suncoast, or other large-chain bookshops. In Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode a new character, Mew Berii joins the team, to help defeat the Saint Rose Crusaders and their mysterious leader. Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode, the second arc of Tokyo Mew Mew, will be released in English by TokyoPop in the Summer of 2005.

The anime of Tokyo Mew Mew which is 52 episodes long, aired in April 2003 on TV Aichi Japan. There are 10 original, authentic Japanese DVDs that you can buy online from AMOTokyo.com, these DVDs are not subtitled, so your understanding of spoken Japanese must be at a moderate level.

Mew Mew Power, the dub of Tokyo Mew Mew, is currently airing on Saturday mornings on FoxBox. It is being produced by 4Kids Entertainment.
